Full Name: Abed Maundu Biado

DJ Biado is a Kenyan media personality known for his work as a journalist, TV & radio presenter, MC, digital-media entrepreneur, and cultural ambassador. He is widely celebrated as the “President” of Benga Nation — a movement dedicated to promoting and preserving authentic Benga music.

He studied Mass Communication at the Multimedia University of Kenya. His media career includes hosting renowned shows at Mutongoi TV such as Nikyavya Ngwatilo and Kililimbi. After leaving Mutongoi TV, He host Kililimbi at Kamba Tv and Kwitu Raha at Kwitu Fm. He is the Head of the Media and Journalism Department at Arizona International College.

Through Benga Nation, DJ Biado spotlights emerging and legendary Benga artists, curates cultural conversations, and empowers creative talents across the community.
